Southern Water -
In 2022, I embarked on a journey along the South East Coast, an edge of British coastline close to my heart, due to it’s proximity to my hometown of Brighton.

My goal was to uncover the truth behind Southern Water’s persistent illegal, unethical, and dangerous dumping of raw sewage along this area of coastline.

In doing so, I also wanted to promote the courageous work of several groups, and their representatives who fight for a cleaner coastline.

Speaking to local campaign groups who seek to combat this issue, raising awareness through their schemes, informing the public of the dangers at hand, and hoping to halt this poisoning of our coastline.
The three individuals photographed represent three different groups: Dorothy Macedo from Unite the Union, Stuart Davies from Surfers Against Sewage, and Libby Darling from Southcoast Sirens.
