Sleep is Solace?

Details the artist's personal dynamic with sleep, dreaming, and the space between the conscious and unconscious mind.
The film is fictional.
Depicting scenes which pay homage to his own experiences, whether that be reoccurring dreams, nightmares, or déjà vu.
The title questions the notion that sleep is both peaceful and consoling when many have difficulties with it.
Dreaming can provide the brain with an opportunity to understand aspects of waking life which are troublesome, while potentially being cause for these hours to be haunted with images from sleep, making the lines between dreaming and reality blur together.
Shot in London, and Nymans Woods, East Sussex.
Written, edited, and directed by Ossie Stockman.
Director of Photography, Callum Weifeng Lan.
Score edited from the soundtrack to the original motion pictures Pusher 2 & 3 by Peter Peter & Peter Kyed
